Absolutely! Insulation will help maintain comfortable temperatures all year long while up to 30%
lessening energy costs. Although you might believe that having too much insulation is preferable to having too little, having too much insulation can actually reduce the efficiency of your home’s HVAC system. The ventilation capacity of your home is decreased by over-insulation, which restricts airflow through the ducts. This then leads to a number of problems, including moisture issues and dangerous
mold growth.

Rodents typically only spend the night and early hours of the morning in the attic. Our technicians frequently leave the attic while inspecting it because of people around. Since the rodents will be kept out of the building, now is the ideal time to seal any holes. In the unlikely event that a rodent remains trapped in the attic after it has been sealed, we will go back and remove it. The difference between this and using traps is that you are securing a long-term solution with rodent proofing.

We use Owens Corning products. It is available as fiberglass batting (rolls) insulation or fiberglass blown-in insulation. Also available is cellulose insulation. This insulation has earned the Energy Star certification and is very efficient. We are happy to conduct an inspection and give you the best options if you are unsure of the best insulation for your home.

Along with the other equipment required for the Inspection, all of our technicians are equipped with ladders.

You are permitted to be present in the home while the work is being done. You are free to depart if you wish. If you decide to leave before the work is finished, the Crew Leader can call you.
